Can someone explain how an aftermarket CDI improves the performance? Is it just advancing the ignition timing or what?

Yes you can get on the list ,I have alot of back orders now so it would be a good idea.

I WANT TO MAKE IT VERY CLEAR, my CDI is not a magic box, it is not going to make a big HP gain by it's self. It will run better and it will get 3 to 4 mph faster but it works best the more you do to inside of the motor.
