Default NH license revocation question

I just got my license revoked for 2 years and I'm bored. Thinking about getting a DS or a Vforce but I'm not sure if I'd be able to legally operate it. I live in NH. My wife seems to think that I can't ride because the license was revoked. I just think she doesn't want me to buy the bike. Can anyone shed some light on the subject? Thanks.

I have never heard of any State requiring an ATV operator to have a drivers license. So why did you loose yours for 2 years?

Drunk driving, but it's a BS charge. I have some problems with a local cop. I don't think anywhere actually "requires" a license, but some people are telling me that because it was revoked, I lose the privelege to ride an ATV, snowmobile, etc. I don't know, it doesn't make sense to me though.

I believe it's true in NH. You need a license to operate a atv on trails. If your own land is big enough, you can ride on it. But anywhere else you need a license.

I hope not. But if you need a license to operate, why do you see little kids out there riding?

At least in Utah kids can't legal ride an atv or moto, unless they are 8 and have taken atv saftey coures and got a certificate. Or if they are on private land.

scottty,

In Alaska if you are pulled over for riding while intoxicated and you will lose your drivers license over it. Also the same goes with a snowmachine. If you are caught riding after losing your drivers license you can be ticketed for operating with a suspened license.

As for little kids not having one it was actually a law up to a few years ago that you had to posses a drivers license to legally ride, know one new of this but a new cop(park ranger) did and was issuing tickets becuase of it. If I am correct the legistslature passed a new law doing away with that part of the driver licnese code. if they have not we have heard nothing else about it since and if you are under 16 you should be riding with a adult anyways. I do not allow my kids to ride with out me and will not in the future if there is not a RESPONSIBLE adult along.

If you realy want to know, just call the HighwayPatrol or the DA's office and inquire or even your state DMV.

And for your Drunk Driving charge being BS because of troubles with a local cop sounds like BS to me, either you are over the legal limit or you are not. AlaskaBoy.

ya know thats not that bad of an idea, maybe that would make those lawyers and tree-huggin weirdos have less reasons to try and ban atvs, just a thought.

and second no offense to you, you might be a cool guy but i dunno how comfortable i would be riding on the trails with a charged drunk driver, but thats just me...
