Default Praire 700 and Mudlites don't do good. HELP.

I bought a set of new ITP 27 Mudlites last week and don't care for them at all. They don't feel right on the Prairie. I'e decided that I'm going to sell them and get me a set of 25x10-12 Maxxis BigHorns. Is this a good price on a set of 4 new Maxxis BigHorns for $260?

on the trail or mud? how wide were the mudlights? What tires did you have before? I have a pair of mudlights 26 coming 12x10 and 10x10.

They were a good tire, but rode way too hard on the trails IMO. I'm going to go with a set of ITP ATR's or Bighorns. If you ride in the mud I think you'll like them.

You may have to air the tires down. I had them for a while and I think I ended up runnning like 4# in the tires to run right.

If you ordered new wheels and tires they may have way to much air in them as they really air them up to get the bead set sometimes. Mine are way stiffer than the stock dunflops but it is welcome in my book.

yes, I agree... I think you'll find that the Mud Lites, when prperly inflated, will ride nearly as smooth as the Big Horn radials, on hard pack...

Guys, I will try to lower the air pressure this weekend and see what it does to the ride.

I have a set of 27 " mudlites on my prairie, and when i got them i put them on and went for a ride. It rode like it was on 4 bricks for wheels. So i checked the pressure and guess what , still had the 23#'s in each tire for poping the tire on bead. Put them at 4#'s and rides like a dream.
