Default any new news?

nyroc,

I'm actually hoping that they come out with a Prairie 500 V-Twin, IRS more then the 750. If they come out with the 750 great, but the 500 is the one I really want to see. I'm looking at buying a new bike for my GF, and right now the leading candidate is the Honda 400AT, but I'm trying to hold off the longest that I can in-case they come out with the 500.

I think this would be the perfect bike for her.

Rumour has it that the new 750 will be called a Brute Force 750 instead of Prairie 750.

I think the Brute Force name is only going to be used for the FIS while the Praire name will stay for the SRA.

Good thing I am gainfully employed. I will probably upgrade to the Brute Force this year.

I might just buy a cheap old truck so I don't have to whine about towing my 650 with a small car.

A 500 v-twin would be sweet!

I would bet it is a water cooled one lunger. One cyl means less money so that they can compete with other midrange machines. 500cc is way too big to be air cooled in an ATV, that's why I'm thinking it will be H20.

I hear the 750 EFI IRS will be detuned. I hope they don't do it with timing, since that makes engines run crappy and overheat easy. I hope it is just an intake restriction, or at worst a wimpy camshaft.

I almost with that instead of a detuned 750 they would just start with a well tuned 650. Less gas wasted, less radiator fan.

I know there will be a 500 but I have not been told if it will be a twin, my guess is it will be a single or maybe a twin engine with the cylinders dropped down to make it a 500! I don't know eactly how but I've been told that us guys with struts will be able to convert ours to shocks using parts off the new 750. We will also be able to convert ours to the EFI using the new 750 parts!

If answering these questions will cost you your job or get you in trouble just make a new profile and call yourself Jack from Ontario they wouldn't know it's you
