A month ago I posted a thread P 700 hard to steer, well some of ya were right. The front locker was stuck on. It's been sitting at the shop for 3 week now and they are still waiting for a back order part. They have no delivery date which mean it could take month cause the part comes from Japan...

I need my ATV in 3 weeks or else I'm loosing $500 for a pre-paid trip. Any body have any solution to accelerate the part delivery or somewhere else to look at.

Tony.... If you need a bike call me! My 650 is a little bored. I probably could take it to the Jamboree for you if that's where you are heading. Call Kawi canada your self on behalf of your dealer, Talk with Cloud or Gary. Also I don't think it would help but you could try Bill Brown, the Kawi rep here.... is your dealer willing to give you a demo?

Call around to some other dealerships? I know that works with auto dealers. Sometimes they'll have the part that they ordered and didn't end up using or sending back and they are happy to cross-ship to get it out of inventory.

Demand they pull the part you need off of a P700 sitting on the showroom floor. You paid good money for your quad and its NEW and its breaking??? BS!!! Get your bike back and make THEM wait to sell their quad.

 

My P700 has 900km, about 40 hours on it. Two weeks ago on a Saturday morning, I went to leave on the bike and the reverse light would not go off. I had to tape the override switch closed to use the 700. Took that to the dealer and got it fixed, a wire fell off and had to be reconnected. Last Friday I unloaded the bike and it rolled hard in neutral, I found that a little unusual. I went about three km and the bike was driving really odd and there was a smell. The master cylinder siezed and locked the front on. By the time I got the bike to the trailer and loaded, both the bike and I were steaming. Still waiting today for master cyl, pads and rotors. Luckily, they disabled the brakes and I can still use it. Moral of the story, waiting for parts must be a common thing. Hope not[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

Kawi 650 The part on backn order is the "Case Gear Bevel Left hand part #14055-1156 Ref # 14055b and I did call Kawi Canada and spoke to Issac, a client rep and he told me that that part was suppose to be in about 2 weeks ago but haven't received it yet.
He was to check with the store manager where my bike is being fix. (G&G brothers Miramichi NB) to see if they couldn't take it from a quad sitting in their show room until they have the replacment part to send me going to the rally.

The problem is that I didn't bought from them because my dealler close down not too long ago.

Is it common thing for P700 to get that kind of crap with front locker???

Kawi Dan, I called G Bourque and couldn't look at the bike for over 3 weeks, at least G&G bros looked at it right away.

Still waiting for an answer from Kawi Canada
