Mickey have you tried the LTE dual exhaust on a stock 700 and compared them to the muzzy 2 in 1 exhaust ?
Also do you know the decibel rating on the muzzy and the LTE exhausts ?

Fair enough... I haven't seen dyno results from the LTE on a stock V. I'm drawing some conclusions. If the Muzzys 2 into 1 (VFORCEJOHN dynoed it at a bit under 9 extra horses over stock) not only outperforms the HMF 2 into 1 (2 hp peak gain) but also outperforms the HMF full dual setup (4 or 5 extra peak hp), and the LTE turns out, as Mickey predicts, to outperform the Muzzys, then the LTE is going to about double the hp gain of the HMF, which I think is one of the top performing dual setups.

I will give HMF some credit... at least they have the guts to post a dyno run for the V-Force on their website. FMF, Pro-Circut, and DMC won't do it the cowards. blah blah conditions, blah blah operator, blah blah sunspot activity just freakin' post the dynos. If you won't post your results then I have no choice but to conclude that your stuff isn't worth the money....

bbertram you're right that website needs help... and in this day and age it's surprising...someone's high school kid can work on that thing for an hour and really improve it.

And those liars at CT racing they told me months ago their 2 into 1 for the V would be available "very soon."

The only way you can compare pipes when a CVT is involved is to put them on the exact same quad with the exact same clutch setup on the same dyno. Different weight/spring combos will give different rear-wheel HP readings as will different dynos. When someone like Mickey does a pipe shootout on the same dyno using the same quad then I'll see some data I'll believe.

The reason the LTE's work is because of the long tappered head pipes. The Yosh is like that but the front pipe is too long. The LTE tappers up to two inch and that is where the tuned length ends, if that make any sense to you. I have not put it on my stocker yet but when I do I think it will need the incerts to give it a little more back pressure. I don't realy care about what one is best on a stock motor, its not really my cup of tea.

I have worked 22 years as an electrician here in vegas to get to where I am today, I am now the life safety systems supvervisor for Mandalay resort group meaning I test and maintain the fire alarm systems for five of the biggest hotels in Las Vegas, as for exhaust systems the first system I bought was the HMF which is a year old, they were extremly loud and ready to be repacked. I am now using the Muzzy so its only the second set of exhaust I have had, but if the LTE is going to give me better performance I will sell the MUZZY but the Muzzy sure sounds good. I am not rich by any means but I am alot better off than I was when I was in my 20's and 30's. I hope everybody's quality of life Improves as they get older. As everbody knows Vegas has been booming for the last 20 years pretty much, and the construction Industry has been very good to me as far as steady work goes.My door is always open to anyone that wants to come out to vegas and do some riding, especially you east coast guys, I am originally from Garrett county Maryland.

The heck with riding, how about a IBEW local 6 wireman from San Francisco who's been keeping the highrises in this city fire free for the last 25 years? I'd not only want to ride next to you, but work besides you too! Rich (Putt)
