Default Prarie 650 Mods

What is the first thing to do to a prarie 650 so that I can outrun my buddy on his atv on old backroads?
We are neck to neck all the way, I just want to be able to edge him out, I did not buy it for that but I am so close so I might as well finish him and his mouth(haha).
I was thinking of a k&n air filter, but what is all this stuff I see about a performance cdi or something that seams to be fairly cheap.
Would you have to change jets or springs that I hear peolps talking about?
Also, could someone explain the + and- of changing primary and secondary springs, and which you prefer for stock sized tires.

Just curious.
Thanks Steve

DO a search for CDI or CLutch Springs and you will get plenty of information. There has been many discussions on this forum.

The best bang for the buck will be the DG3 module. Just a filter and a pipe mod wont do much for ya.
