Bighorn radial in 26 and 27 inch
My o'granpappi use to say when the going got tough the tough get going! or something like that?~LOL Anyway I have NEVER run a tougher tire yet! In the Very Rocky Rausch Creek GNCC, I kissed some rocks that I know if I wasn't running beadlocks my rims would have been toast! and could have sworn and thought at one time during I had a flat! Even stopped to check,, and nothing! I was good to go! Tires where fine! It was my arms that where going a little flat~LOL. I've owned some GBC and ITP tires and have NEVER had a tire go so long without even a plug? My Prairie will never see another other then the Big Horns! I know the 25" Im running now really seem a little larger then normal 25" tires I've run and feel for my riding style that's the right size! but hey? Maybe 26" would make a great back up on my stock rims? And Might be a good size for most to run as an all around trail tire. ~coop

I bought the 25" bighorns and my advice is to not go larger. They are plenty tall and heavy as is without getting any more mass. I also cannot get the tires to balance and have bad handlebar shimmy above 30 mph. I am waiting as per Maxxis until mid June to swap out the tires. They admitted that they have had several complaints about out of balance issues.
All that aside the tires handly very well in a lot of conditions. I would love to recommend them, but the out of balance issue has soured me on them.

Cyclemore4less.com has them presently listed on there website. Check it out. Hey cartman , how do you like your 27 inch mudbugs? Do you have any rubbing issues? Do you have a lift or anything. Are they 27x10x12 and 27x12x12 respectivly. Would you recommend them in the same size because I see you can get them in 27x8x12 and 27x10x12.
