who has one installed? what kind of gauge did you get? where do you hook it up at? ( is it mechanical or electrial?)

i was running my prairie today. it seamed to turn the fan on about every half mile. i was getting a little nervous. air temp was 75 deg. i tried to just keep moving about 20 mph, and it came on every 150 yards or so. when i ran it about 40 mph, it came on about every half mile. radiator is clean, air filter is clean, played with my pilot screws. it runs good, i do have a slite burp (hesitation) at the 1/4 to 1/2 throtle. i did a plug check with used plugs, it looked fine. but could i be getting a false reading. i have water wetter and the dynatek cdi. it should run cooler. i did notice that i had to give it a little gas to get her cranked up after sitting. didnt have that problem before when air temp was cooler.

i would apreciate any sugestions.

Hey choop
I got a mechanical one on my 02...just a cheepie from a local auto parts chain
Had to buy a tee fitting and nipples from my local hardware store...no biggie
Put my tee in the top hose....between the head and the radiator
Works good....20 bucks and a little bit of work.

I considered this mod so cheap and easy-just like me-that I did the other halfs Kodiak and my sons Mojave
