I live in the small town of Mountain City, about as far N.E. as you can get in Tenn. 40 miles from Johnson City.
we have two different mountains that we can ride on, $10 a day for one and $5 for the other one.
Some of it is rocky and steep. Creek crossings, but not much mud.

mikee2- You may be talking about Royal Blue. Good riding area with alot of mud when it rains. Good amount of trails to ride as well. If you are into long rides you can even hook up to Wind Rock. Matt

Two riding areas in Mountain City Tenn. are.

Callalantee Trail System on route 91 2 miles north of town. phone 423 727 8156
Crackerneck Riding Area on route 167 and Crackerneck Rd 3 miles SW of town No phone

About a days riding in each area, mostly rocky, some pretty steep, some nice fire trails too.

Hope this helps

Callalantee Trail marking is not as good as it could be, they do have the intersections numbered now,
maybe they had that in April, I don't know. On the south end of the trail system there is more riding that's not on the map,
Easy to get lost tho. The Trail Marking on the other mountain area is not very good at all.

I don't remember any numbers on the trails only markings were colors I think.. But it was still fun to ride, and not a whole lot of other ATV's there so you could ride at you're own (FAST) pace...
