Default Bayou Question

I've got an older bayou, and for the most part it runs pretty good. The gears are hard to shift though, and it takes alot to get it into second. Its been driving me crazy 'cause riding it is a pain.

....Any suggestions on what to do with it?

Alright, thanks. I wanted to get some ideas other than a new tranny. I'll check out the filter and oil.

After the oil change, you could try adjusting the auto clutch. If you dont have a service manual , that describes how to do that, post the question and someone will answer on how to do it.
