Tommyboy,
I have been considering the same thing as you... possible upgrade to the BBK from FST instead of trading up to the BF750. I do not own the FST BBK now, but I have called to get the prices and other info a while back and here are some of the answers to your questions (as best as I can recall that is). Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here.

1. Yes, the 765cc kit will work on the P650 (the 800cc kit works for the P700).
2. Yes, you can buy the FST cams with the kit (along with other options like heavy duty valve springs, etc.)
3. I think the answer is yes, BUT it will likely cost you more than having your local machine shop do the engine work (pressing new sleeve into the cylinders, heads ported and polished, etc.) AND it will take a LONG TIME if FST does this work b/c of the backlog of work at FST (this backlog may no longer be an issue, but it was last time I checked a long time ago).
4. At least 2 folks have reported that the TOTAL REBUILD COST of installing the FST BBK (including labor, head work, etc.) was about $2500 to $2700.
5. I would guess yes b/c the FST BBK comes with higher compression ratio than the BF 750 motor (which only has 8.8:1 comp. ratio) and also b/c of the FST BBK's improvements over stock engines (such as having head work done and the FST cams, etc.).

In a nutshell, I am still trying to figure out what my next quad will be (my current P650 with BBK or the BF 750)...I really prefer SRA and that is why I'm leary about the BF750.

Happy trails...

Good call, everything you said is correct. That doesn't happen to much on the net. From what I was told is the new 750 is very tippy. If you like IRS than it will be good but if you like to go fast and corner well you are better with what you have.

For about the same price or less than you would pay to trade for a new Prairie or Brute Force you can get the awsum power from a FST kit,,, the only thing you will regret is not doing it sooner!
Sad but true, I have talked with a couple people who have been allowed to test run the new Brute Force and just as Mickey has said,,, they said it is tippy in the corners and the steering is not as good as the Prairies unless you are standing or sitting way forward,,, it will be a work horse and a mild trail machine! If you wish to stay sporty, stick with what you already have and FST it! There's no replacement for displacement! LOL!!!!!!

Mickey,
Thanx for confirming my answers above and for the compliment. For what its worth, I have only read/heard good things about FST's BBK on the P650/P700, and I'm definitely keeping that option open for my P650 at the end of this racing season.

I know Mickey's kits are great for racing but are they dependable enought for basic duning and trail riding or would you end up with an unreliable trail rig? I am not bashing Mickey at all, I just heard that when you go into the motor with any quad you greatly reduce the lifespan of the engine. Is this true? Thanks.

Mine has over 600 miles on it with the big bore! I know several of the guys who have the big bore and all they do is trail ride,,, I'd have to say that if any mods that are done to any quad are done right they will last with few if any problems!
