This is about the BigGun pipe, I didn' put one on my P700 but I put one on my 660 Grizz and had the K@N filter and rejetted many times I also moved the main needle up and down trying to get that extra power. There is a long simi steep but smooth pipeline hill behind my house, starting from the same spot I would run WOT from there till I toped the hill and kept an eye on the speedo. I discovered that the BigGun made the Grizz slower than with the stock pipe. I think the BG doesn't produce the correct backpresure to let the engine run properly, but this was on a Yamaha (sory bout that) and the Kaw may react diffrently all I'm saying is you might want to do a test like I did jest for $hits and giggles. Good luck. And I was mad as heck that I spent over $300 to go slower!

Sound like you are still running to lean . If your bick is backfiring on deceleration it is lean . But your pipe may cause it to back fire . I work on bickes for a living and see this problem all the time . But with a little time you will get it right . Before you get bigger jets try raising your needles and that don't work step up two or three sizes set your needles back down . It takes time to get them right . I have a p650 runs great and I love it . Hope this helps .
