Camo Tape Question?????
I was wondering if anyone has used camo tape on their atv? I wanted to get the camo version of the Kawa p700 when I got mine, but they sold the last one and they were back ordered for more, so I got a red one. But, since I hunt, I would like to have it camoed. The dealer will sell me the entire camo plastic for $400.00, but I was wondering if it would be cheaper to do the tape while keeping a nice finish. Also, will the tape stay on? Thanks for any help.

Camo Tape Question?????
Hey guys there is this guy here in Columbia, SC. that will paint your quad with some kind of paint that he pretty much guarantees against scratching. I have seen some of his work and have been seriously thinking about having it done. It looks as good as the factory finish except, ( according to him ) it doesn't scrach as easly or fade when exposed to cleaning stuff like purple power/ white lighting. He told me if I take the racks off he would do it for 250, or 300 if I just dropped of the 4 wheeler. He has I think 4 different paint scemes. I dont know exactly how he does it but it looks just as good as the stuff from the factory. I had been thinking about buying the camo plastic also but after I heard that it would peel I just dont know??

Camo Tape Question?????
Hey Guys find a shop or painter that can grab the military paint they use on the humvees ... surplus stores usually have it and it does'nt scratch off or peel like the other types . Believe me it's tough and is usually very inxpensive. It's the real deal and you can paint the racks and anything else when you want ... make sure he or you saves the extra for future jobs .

Camo Tape Question?????
Yea mine looks nice I like it, good quality product. I bought some water repellant from wal-mart and sprayed on it so it beads water off good. It was on my quad when I bought it from a friend, but he said it was not to hard to install. It has clips that hold it on around the fenders and Velcro that hold in some places.
