KFX Question
#2
The KFX 700 performs quite well. It has tons of torque and will take the holeshot on just about any quad. Top end speed is
not the greatest, approx 76 mph, but in the woods that really don't matter. This thing steers great in the woods and trails, the
braking is great, it's unbelievably manuverable for its size. I would recommend this quad to anyone interested in it. As for the top
end speed, this month's issue of dirt wheels had a brief article on a swing arm conversion in the works deleting the shaft drive for a chain, which means over 90 mph.

...hate ta tell you this....but getting a basically stock one to go 90 is just about impossible...with the less weight to move around chances are it will hit the rev limiter...and bounce off of it...
The bike was designed to appeal to the GNCC racers...which in turn means it is great for the woods and trails and what not...do not wory about the weight because the power the V twin delivers makes up for it...best thing to do is go to a dealer and ask them if you can ride one...
ohh and once you get to about 40 you will get into a flat spot in the accleration because the clutching on it is not even close to being decent...if you want to get it of this problem buy a new primay clutch spring and it should take care of it
