P700 vs. Twin Peaks 700

Looking at both the P700 and the Twin Peaks. Are there any big differences between the two?

Hi Outwest,

To my knowledge, they are the same machine with the exception of different color plastic.

P700 vs. Twin Peaks 700

Color and decals are the only difference. The Twin Peaks IS a Prairie 700. They (Suzuki) had an agreement with Kawasaki to sell the Prairie in the yellow outfit. I'm sure some money must have changed hands in the deal.

I think it was payback for Suzuki giving Kawasaki the Z400. Something they really really needed at the time. All part of that deal I would imagine.

Thanks guys, looks like it comes down to best price and service...Any thoughts on who (Kaw or Zuk) goes the extra mile for their customers?

Its not really the company, but more the dealership. Some dealerships will bend over backwards to make you happy, others just want to get you out the door and never see you again. I'd make my pick based on dealer, price and color.
