Lately I have been kicking around the idea of trading my '04 V-Force for another 4x4. I've got a P650 which I love, but the good ol' V just doesn't see as much seat time as it should. I think I'm more of a 4wd guy at heart. The new Brute Force really has my curiosity piqued. I think it'd be a good addition next to the P650... but the IRS still has me a litty iffy. I'm a SRA guy for the most part, even in my trucks. Ah, at any rate, I wonder what I could expect in trade from a dealer? The V may have 200 miles on it & maybe 50 hours. Have ProArmor nerfs too. All of the stickers are gone off the bike (my own doing) and the plastic does have the normal scratches and dull spots from wood riding. Has anyone made a trade like this? If I were in your shoes I would trade the P650 in on the Brute Force and keep the V-Force. Then you have the best of both worlds. Just my opinion.

 

Hey Russ700 i just traded my V in on a new BF750. All i can say is I have NO regrets! I also have a '04 p700 and it's gone as soon as a buddy can cash-up for it. I normally don't post on these boards but here lately i've seen alot of folks doubting the BF. Personally i think more people need to put their paws on one of these things before they judge. As far as trade-in on the V goes well lets just say, thats why we call an atv a "toy" and gold an "investment".[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Good luck w/your new atv itch.

 

I’m doing the same thing, and will be getting the 1st Camo Brute that my dealer gets in. I took my Vforce to them last week for an appraisal and we’ve made a deal so now it’s just a waiting game (which shouldn’t be very long!). I will probably miss my Vforce but who knows in a year or two I may have to get another (after some improvements are made, say like a larger engine and EFI?)…
