Default P700 flywheel puller?

I am going to install my 4 deg offset key and have a standard flywheel puller.
Will this work or is a special one required?

Are the procedures much different from the V-Force instructions posted?

Thanks
Chris

The standard puller will not work.
I had to go all over town to find the right threads and the center piece is rather long.
This was just so the Honda shop could do the job. None of the Honda pullers would fit.
Also they had to drain the coolant and oil to get it off. I think the coolant was different than the v-force instructions.
They charged me 2 hours labor plus fluid and they are pros. 138 dollars and I think that was money well spent.

Did you notice the difference with the 4 degree key installed?

Default P700 flywheel puller?

Anyone know a part number for this flywheel puller?
My dealer (ex-dealer) doesn't loan or rent out tools and when asked about certain mods they just give you a stupid look. Hell they even tried to sell me a set of dual exhaust for my P700 back in Dec. Imagine thhat.

Your local dealer may let you borrow his like my dealer did for me. I just got my pictures up on my site that shows the degree key install. You can check it out if you like to maybe get some pointers and things to watch out for. Good luck, it isnt a bad job at all.

Great job KOD. Did you find if the degree key helped?
I keep getting the question and don't know because I did all mods at once.
All I know is I'm fast and this Prairie is one trail hugging machine.

Thanks minimus. The degree key did help for sure. Before, at rolling 5mph I couldnt bring the front tires up in high range. Now they will come up to the 3' range for around 20'. Im 100% sure it helped my P650.

Right now in high or low range I can sit my 180# butt on the airbox and nail it on blacktop and up she comes! It will continue up until I chicken out. I wonder how it will be after the key?
