airbox, 2 many holes i found a cheap fix

2 many holes in your air box lid? you can use ear plugs to seal them back up. this would only work if they are not any bigger than 3/8". you can get these anywhere, just dont get the ones that are very poris (normaly the yellow ones are bad, they look like a can). get the kind that look smooth, and shaped like a rocket. i have some pictures up so you can see what im talking about.
i know the lids dont cost that much but this could get you through in a pinch.

KOD - I should start a new topic now that we're talking about holes in airbox lids: does anyone else notice that you get pulses of air back up through the carbs when you hit the throttle and before the RPM's build? I wonder what causes this effect, and I wonder what would happen if a person had the airbox lid geared up with "reed valve" style inlets (holes open when the engine is pulling in air but flaps close when the reverse pulse comes back up through the carbs)???

Hold your hand over the top of the carbs with the lid off, or over the open holes in your airbox lid; when you hit the throttle, you will feel air being blown back up through the carbs/holes.
