I have a 1991 Bayou 300 4X4 and it keeps blowing headlight bulbs after a couple days... Any solutions??? Thanks jammer

 

i'll take a guess and say its the voltage regulator????Or maybe they call it something else---can anyone else comment???

 

short -or - headlight housing improperly mounted - ie rubber grommets gone - If your voltage reg was bad enough to be blowing bulbs, you would also be boiling your battery. maybe you are buying poor quality bulbs that may fit, but are not designed for the appliacation.

 

if you dont have any luck with any replies , try soldering in a rerducer which is avalable from many electrical shops ,happy days mate
