I just got some ITP HOLESHOT ATR'S for my BF. What psi should you run in them?

If you call ITP they will tell you 6 to 7 psi! I am running the 26" ATR's at 6 psi all the ay around. It's too rough. I know folks that run 3 psi rear and 4 psi front. I will be trying this set up on my next ride.

Please give a full report on the ATRs. I'm considering them as replacements for the Dunsux that come with the bike.

Exellent Tire! I have the 26" units. The bump or root steer is gone when running a radial. Traction is great. If you are a mud slop hole swimer get something else. Wear is great. I Love em!

I had the tires mounted today. The quad shakes up front from 20 mph on up. WHY? I'm running 6psi on all four.

My atrs shaked some but when I adjusted the toe-in to zero it stopped. It will still shake when I get up to around 60mph. Also Im talking about riding on pavement, on dirt I dont notice any shake.

The tread wear seems to be good. I have over 1200 miles on my tires. They did leak around the bead on the rears when I had my wheels silver powder coated but silicone fixed that. One of my rears had two sidewall pinholes in it and it was replaced without any charge at all the next week.

Traction is excellent in snow and slippery rocks. They dont do well in deep mud but thats what 4x4 and the locker is for. Over all Im very satisfied with them but I do wish the fronts were a bit narrower. They list at 8" but are really 9.25". The rears list at 10" but are 11" and thats great with me.

The only other tire I would buy over the ATRs are the Carlise Badland Radials. I have rode those tires several times now and they outperform the ATRs in mud and do just as well in everything else. They may be a tad bit lighter than the ATRs are also.

I was just on NYROC's website. I hope that balancing the front tires will fix the problem??? Thoughts??

I would try to get them balanced. There was a run of bad tires from ITP a while back. I can't remember if they were the ATR's or not. Also check to see if the bead of the tire is properly seated. That will cause some wobble. The Holeshots on my V-Force are great with the exception of the front left tire seems to have a manufacturing flaw and wobbles side to side but disappears at speed. It's almost like one sidewall is shorter than the other in a 3 inch section.
