Is aftermarket exhaust worth it?

Problem: Whiny CVT.
Solution: Buy yourself a walkman radio with earphones and tune in your favorite radio station...Problem solved!

Is the aftermarket exhaust worth it ??? only you can answer that... IMO though, it is the highest dollar per horse power gain mod that you can do...
ROCK... that is an interesting mod ( extending the tie rod mounting point on the steering stem ), although I can live with mine...
I'm sure that the whining CVT, is likely either related to the belt tension, & or the KBEC bearing / fork...both of mine ( the original '02 primary & secondary ), & the '03 models I replaced them with are quieter than some I've heard, & of course, now that my KBEC is removed, it is even quieter...

I would gladly replace the whole unit if it would make any difference...its so bad that i dont like riding it..what is involved with removing the ebc?..and even after the belt is adjusted it still is remakably loud..

On jetting. I have cams, ignition, K&N, DG Snorkel, but stock exhaust.
I still have 138/142 and I am good up until 5000' after that it starts getting really rich. Below 5000 you don't relly notice it much, but I am still rich. My house is at 1500 feet and I am pretty good there though.
I would assume that is more of a sea level jetting rec.
