Got my new Brute this is what I think
#1
After a month of reading what everyone had to say about the BF I did what someone told me to do, jump in with both feet and hang on for the ride. My last quad was a P650, I was worried I would not like the tippyness of the IRS, that was not the case for me, I haven't got it broke in yet but at low and medium speeds I love it. In fact on the same trails I ride with the p650 I felt more confident with the BF in most cases. It is a little more tippy feeling, but with a little body english I felt pretty good once I got used to it. The CG is way lower than it looks.
I rode 50 miles with my friend who has a Rincon, we rode in some real rocky off camber stuff, and a lot of hill climbs. We traded back and forth over all diferent terrain and we both had the same conclusion in the end. The Rincon has a little smoother ride (lot softer seat). The off camber stuff we could not decide if one had an edge over the other, the rincon a lot lower but nonadjustable shocks. The BF looks big but rides a lot smaller, adjustable shock all the way around. Driveability: The BF had better steering accuracy and just handeled better, seemed easier to put it where you wanted it. Power: I don't think I have to say anything there. Engine breaking is great, went down a hill with a lot of loose rocks and quit steep never touched the breaks and max speed was 6 mph. The Rincon you had to use both breaks and be in 4-whell to stay in control. Both of these machines are new and are both stock. I have Badlands XTR's on order so if it gets better like everyone says, this thing will be awesome.
In conclusion: Overall pakage, the BF is the best thing I have ever ridden (in my opinion).
