Default looking for timing key installation instructions

I thought I say it on here somewhere but can't find it now. Had dealer install it and lost around 4 mph. Thinking it may be backward. They say it is a big job, Book showed 2.4 hours they said and charged me. Was hoping I chould check it some way.

Thanks guys. I will look it up. The dealer always makes me think that everything is too hard to do so I will have to bring it to him. Except he doesn't really want to do it again, in case he installed it backwards.

Is top end the only place where you lost performance? My bikes top speed varies from run to run by quite a bit. In identical conditions it has varied by 6 mph in runs done less than 5 minutes apart. Just a thought.

Maybe I should get the 6 degree key and put in just in case it is right. Anybody know about the cam timing?

I have the directions if you need them. I have also put up some new albums tonight. One is the 02 to 02 airbox conversion and modification of it and the other album is the modification of the carb heater lines.

You couldn't ask for better directions than on this page, mega pictures so it will take awhile to view if you have dialup.

There is no need to remove the temp sensor and starter gear. But those are great instructions.

My dealer is trying to scare me away from doing this, Says you will not have reliability. If the v force is that way, I can't see the problem. Is there any drawbacks with doing this?
