Help please. I have a 97 Lakota and I was told I needed a new CDI. I tested it per the M/M and I found that the Alternator circuit, blue wire, of the cdi is dead. I found a cdi on the internet and the manufacturer suggested replacing the regulator/rectifier at the same time. I did the ohms test of the regulator and it tested good but I didn't do the load test yet. Will the regulator burn out the alternator circuit of the cdi? Please help with any input.
