Default developed knock or rattle

Hello all, I developed a knock or maybe a rattle noise from engine area when idling. Seems to be a little louder on right side.
I put the 4 degree key in and dg3 about 3 months ago.
Could this be pre detination or something else. I ran a tank of premium gas 91 octane and sound is still there.
I don't have any power loss and don't here it at any other time when driving.
The sound varys with volume some times its louder than at other times.
Any help on this? I know if I take back to dealer he will blame the mods.

It's due to some wear in the primary clutch. You can live with the noise or take the clutch apart and get oversized spacers put in to take up the slack.

Mine has made that same noise since it was new, no problems. Does someone detail how to fix it?

Thanks for the information, better news than I thought.
Does anyone have information on a better or heavy duty clutch?

Wow, same noise I had developed after putting 4 degree key and dyna cdi in.
I think NovaKaw650 is right on.
I was thinking along with my dealer who is new could it be pre detonation with advanced timing.

A clutch problem is more like it with the knock and rattle I had also. The noise came back on a ride Friday and this is without the dyna cdi.
I put my dyna back in today with 4 degree key.
Good job on description roamer1.
