Default Brute Force owners - what is the top speed?

We sell Suzuki,Yamaha,Bombardier, and Kawasaki where I work,so I've had the opportunity to ride the Brute Force for awhile and look it over real good.It appears to be a pretty nice ATV with a few manufacturing shortcomings.

The protection level for the radiator is WIDE open in the front.CV boot protection sucks front and rear.Im sure there will soon be aftermarket products for this real fast.Im concerned that KAWI did'nt go with EFI on this model too.

Im just waiting for the arrival of the new 700 KQ.Im going to give it a good look over and ride. From what I read,it is more than likely going to be my next ATV.

Havent had mine to top speed, still breaking it in. Yesterday I did make a 1/2 throttle run and I seen 54 MPH. So it should run nearly 70 when topping out.

I don't see why, since Kawi introduced the Prairie 650, everyone thinks that V-Twins obsolete singles. The number of cylinders and the degree they are tilted does not have everything to do with power by any means. I'm definitely not saying the Kawasaki V-Twins aren't great engines, I've ridden them, they're sweet! I just don't think, however, that there will never be a single that will edge out a V-Twin for power supremacy.

The thing with a v-twin is that it naturally balances itself , in a large single you either have a lot of vibration or you add a lot of internal counter balancers that hurt power and response.I have not seen and 4-bangers runnig with John Force.

No disrespect to all of those who are liking the KQ, but it sounds like mutiny over here in the Kawi forum! V-TWINS FOREVER!
