If you're considering, then you probably already know that you'll need to modify the front of your floorboard even if you're running a lift. (This mod is very simple)
I took my first ride on these brutes today...WOW. If you ride primarily in the mud this tire cannot be beaten. I've run several types of tires and have friends running zillas etc. The tires I replaced were 27" mud lites with very little wear. Honestly...I can run 2wd in some of the places where I had to be in 4wd. The 29.5's vibrate the bars on hard pack below 10mph, but its minimal and if you ride the kind of trails I do its not a concern. They track smooth at speed and are far lighter than I expected them to be. I know they are not even close to the weight of a 28" EDL vamp or even a 28" Zilla.

I also have to admit I enjoy the "WTF are those" look on peoples faces when they see them. I haven't seen many people on this board talk about the 29.5, so I thought I'd post a small review.

You need to trim 1.5" from the front side of the floorboard. Go to k--ieriders.com and search for posts by kscowboy. In one of his posts he has pictures posted that clearly indicate where he had to trim. If you have any other questions let me know. I went riding again today and the worst thing about these tires is having to wait for everyone to make it throught the same whole. lol. None of the guys I ride with are run less than a 27" tire.

Crazyrc, got any pics of the 29.5's on your quad??? Thinking about getting a set, would like to see how they look, seen lots of pics on Brutes but none on the 650/700.

Where'd you get them, is there someone in AB or even just in Can. that sells them and if so, how much??

Thanks, and by the way, where in AB are you?? I'm in the Sexsmith area.

Thanks, I keep hoping to find more stuff for sale in Canada, shipping and brokerage fees kinda suck every time stuff comes accross the border.

Oh man I know all about it...I'm a little nervous about my order getting to me and ending up in china or something..lol, cause it's gonna be pricy with 4 tires and spacers and a lift kit...plus like you said, shipping and those darn brokerage fees ....but I love the look of those monsters and I love the mud so you know how it is! gotta have the toys
