KOD--with the cdi box in, anywhere from 15-20mph rolling then punch it from a normal sitting postion the frt end comes right up and power wheelie as far as i have the ballsto. lol charles at the dealer didnt believe me but when i carried it in for the first service i showed him and he had to get everybody at the dealer to come look so they would believe him. it was pretty funny

I have mine in high when I do it. On a side note I test drove a BF today, I liked it, good power, I would like to get to know it a little better if ya know what I mean One thing I noticed was the off idle sputter and dead spot at part throttle, maybe cause it is new or the jetting is tad bit off. I am so used to mine running soooo sweet with the jet kit and filter. I cannot remember if mine ran that way when it was new. Could it be the ignition retard doing that? I popped some wheelies in the grass with it, my buddy is a sales rep at the dealership and he just laughed at me. I would like to take it on some fast paced trails and see how it behaves. I got the feeling on it that I could crawl over anything with it. The suspension felt good, the rear felt good and stiff, power sliding I bet would not be too awkward with it, much better than my bro's SP700. Just my 2 cents, later.

First of all, how do you know the KQ does 71 mph when the machine isn't even for sale yet????? Secondly, I would think the v-twin brute would have a better top end than a big single, IMO. I had my 700 prairie at 68.6 by my hand held GPS before I put any mods on it and that was with only about 45 miles on it. Now it is broken in, it is even faster.

Mine wont be a giant killer like yours but it will hold its own for a fair price. AND be reliable.

rivermud, mine will come into a full wheelie at 5mph in low range. In high it comes up about a foot. This is sitting on the seat in a normal riding position and doing nothing but giving WOT WHILE GOING 5mph.

I dont think I've tried a rolling wheelie in low. I'll have to check that out.
