Default Need help!!!!

I just bought a 2000 bayou 300
The problem is that the person who had it before me messed with the clutch adjusting screw on the right hand side and he broke the screw off so there is nothing but the nut there now.
It is really hard to shift and has hardly any power. It doesn't smoke. What do you think the power loss has to do with? Maybe out of time?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would check the valve adjustment, you should see a plate on your head somewhere with a couple bolts in it,after removing it you can set your valves,im not sure what the setting on yours would be, sorry I cant help you with that,as for the bolt im not sure what your talking about is it broke off in it if so use a easy out and see if you can get it out if that doesnt worek drill it out and tap it good luck.

When you say no power, what is it doing? does it rev up like it should? does it bog, miss, cutout, rev good at first then die out, backfire? sound good but feel like the brake is on even when its not? Elaborate a little more and more people will be able to help you. WELCOME to the forum.
