Default V-FORCE Jetting

i installed a k&n air filter and want to know what the jetting would be? i ride from 0-5,000 feet.

well its popping and when i rev it, it stutters then goes.

what i mean by jetting is like 144f,142r u know stuff like that.

get a few new jets and work up in jet sizes. trial and error. i would think 1 larger size front and rear would be a good start.

Stock is 135 front & 140 rear, I cant belive with a k&n you will need to go up any, I am running DMC duals and am at 138 & 142 mains, Try adjusting your air screws out to between 2 & 2 1/4 turns out, This will richen up the pilot circuit and most likely cure your poping. If it helps or worsens the stock setting is 1 1/2 turns out, try a 1/4 turn at a time on both until it straigtens out, but just a little should cure it, also make sure you havent over oiled your filter and that the lid is seated and lacthed correctly .

shortyno11, I think Todd400 is probably right.....air screw or over-oiled filter. I just cleaned my K&N a few weeks ago and over-oiled it. I got the exact throttle response you did.
