Here is a even better rumor!
I heard Kawasaki is going to drop the P700 back down to a P650 EFI, then increase the BF to a 800 EFI.

That's a distinct possiblity. The factory run of the P650/P700/BF750/AC650 V-twin engine is becoming so large that the overall cost could be getting lower. Economy of scale, ya know. If they could price it in the range of the other manufacturers' 500cc machines, they would sell a ton of them!

I guess I can predict the future, because it's on the Kawi website now. They call it the Brute Force 650, but it's a Prairie with BF plastic on it.

I'll admit, that I'm disapointed that it isn't wearing a dual A-Arm front, to go with the original Prairie swing arm... if it had been released that way, I'd have bought one for the wife... I guess I'll have to keep wrenching on my "old" iron...

I personaly love the chassis the way it is. I like the front struts, I thought that front strut design on the prarrie is alot smoother than the BF 750 A-arm, wich I thought was pretty similar to the stiff feal I had in my old V-force. I feal that stiff front a-arm design is what makes the BF push so much. I thought affter riding dad's BF 750 then going back to the P650 Then bacK to The STP700. several times in a 4 day trip, we both felt the the BF road slightly better in the rear but alot stiffer in the front, we both like the comfort and handeling of the p650 better than the BF750. I hope they leave those struts the way they are, just give me that 750 in the Prarrie chassis BF and I'll be happy. EFI would be nice too. I know there are some aftermarket struts for guys that like a stiffer front suspension.
