Default mods on kfx400 to take a piped yfz

what all do u have to do to a kfx400 to take a piped yfz in a drag?

I know pipe, cams. what else will i need or do i have to bore it? We weigh about the same.

a 449 big bore kit from denton racing(the same as doug gust on his z)

Yep a Yoshi kit.. A Trinity kit won't do it.. The Yoshi kit is stroked and that is the deciding factor.. My bro owns both..

save yourself the grief, the dissapointment and a blown motor and just buy a YFZ!

dang it i forgot i want to go alky.... with a bore, which would be best, if im going to bore i might as well go all out.

you do not need a big bore to beat piped 450's.

You wont avoid anything, the yfz blows engines faster than most modded z's anyway.

You dont need a big bore, scrambler is right. A high comp piston, cams, pipe, filter, carb and a little head work should have you beating stock yfzs with ease and a few piped ones. If you tap the piston out a couple thousandths, you will be taking piped, filtered, and cam modded yfzs.
