I would like people to compare the speed of my new hosting company VS my old one. I think its fast but I want to hear from you guys.

I found your old host to be a little faster.

 

lol, really? Thats funny. I find it slower, dowloading the video off my old host was about 10 kb/s yesterday. I downloaded the same video off my new host and it was running at 100 kb/s. I love the speed increase, for photo viewing there should be little difference because my photos are all relatively small.

 

I got 609k/second average on the new site, just over 100 peak on the old site. I'd say its much faster.

Took me 38 seconds to download the "big mud pit" movie from the prairie section on the new connection.

The first mudhole movie only loaded at 401k average though. It took 49 seconds and its a smaller file. Not sure why...

The big mud pit movie is still downloading from the old site, I'll post the time when it gets done.

 

43.5 k/sec for the big mud pit movie on the old connection. 8 mins 51 seconds. Both downloads were started at the same time.

 

Holy crap, thats nice. I want your internet connection damn it.

new site is alot faster, old site downloaded at 350kb then down to 40kb/sec and took 8 mins, the new site stayed at 386kb/sec to the hole time and took 22 sec for the same vid. nice

 

My pictures will be getting a major overhaul soon. Going to use php, saves webspace and makes showing pictures on your website oh so easy. My videos will change some too.

 

I could be wrong. I noticed the pics come up faster on the old site. matbe Im just screwed up. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Great site though.
