I have a 98 300 bayou, I just got it a few weeks ago.
This thing has no power hardley, It goes up hills realllll slow and sounds real choppy, My valves are a little noisy, But it doesnt smoke at all.
Could this be a valve problem maby?
Any help would be great.

poorly adjusted valves can rob you of your power if its the exhaust valves,youll lose your compression.

 

after getting warmed up, will your motor rev high when you apply throttle. does it increase revs steadily as you increase throttle steadily, if not then it's a feul/jetting problem. let me know
