Default Will loctite 648 work on Prairie front end click?

I know tech tips recommends loctite 638 retaining compound, but all I have is loctite 648 retaining compound. Will this work and what is the difference in them if you know?

Loctite 638 is a maximum strength retaining compound. Loctite 648 is a high strength fast cure retaining compound. The 638 can fill up to aobut .010 and the 648 can fill up to about half that. Hope that helps you out.
