Ok,i checked my plugs in my 03 P650,there BLACK as coal,obviously to rich,now, Can i fix this problem by simply replacing the main jets,i dont want to have to go through the whole process of changing the needles and shims and all this bull,please tell me yes!

how did you do a plug check? what size jets you have in that thing? the proper way of doing a plug check is to.

1 warm up the motor.
2 go to 3/4 to full throtle.
3 hold it there for a 1/2 mile (around about).
4 kill the motor at that speed and dont let off of the throtle.
5 coast the bike to a stop and then check your plugs.

doing a full run blast then going back to the garage putting will not give you an exact reading.
