I am looking at both for purchase. Where i ride there is alot of hills. I was wandering which was faster uphill? Thanks for any info.

 

Go with the KFX 700. A Predator can't touch it !!!
The only thing that you have to worry about with a "V" is shooting over the top of the hill !!!! Honestly

 

I like the KFX 700 far better than the predator...but unless you do alot of work to her she will not shoot up the hill faster than the pred. She comes far more detuned stock and she is heavier. If you improve the clutch, let her breath, and properly jet her (a task in itself on the v-twin) then she will definitely hold her own...its easier shooting the KFX up the hill as she is automatic and good low end torque...but she is not known for being the fastest hill shooter.

With that said...the KFX is a great machine...very strong v-twin and a blast to ride. You dont know how that automatic will spoil you.

 

ok, so u cant go up a hill with a kfx-700
but u can get the ladies with a pred.
choice would be easy for me!

me either, it may not be the fastest climber, but one of the best all around. Plus the V is bigger/wider, so think positive.... if a V can get the ladies as you say, theres more room, so you can carry more girls [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I like the V because you can climb anything from a complete stop. More low end torque than just about anything.
