Hi,Im new to this forum,and thought someone could help me out. I think this forum is awsome. I just picked up a project quad. I'ts a 1987 mojave,and I want to put a kx250 engine in it. Does anyone know if its been done and where I can get some info?

hey 250A1 is it the stock that you have in your 540 tecate. how did you do to do that

 

No, its a KX500 motor with a LA sleeve 540 kit.
the power is a little on the insane side, but gotta love it

 

hey mental how much is that 345 kit from cwr?also was gona put an edelbrock carb on it till I saw the price,itll have to wait for now on that 1 lol.

i was going to do this with a 400ex frame and cr250 motor but ppl say it vibrates way to much and causes strees cracks

 

345 kit is 330$ and for the carb you can put a 400ex one.

 

What you guys want to look at is the Kawasaki Mojave that William Yokley modified into a KX250. He won the GNCC on this.Text
