Default 100 hr belt switch tripped twice?

At 98 hrs I was riding wheelies in the yard and tripped the belt switch. I reset it and 10 minutes later tripped it again. I reset it again and took off the cover just to make sure it wasn't fraying (it wasn't). I never have been too sure about how to measure for proper deflection but the bike still squeaks in gear at idle a little. I guess my question is will the preset 100 hr trip occur just once or repeat itself?

Mine trips more than once they always comes in twos. I think I have a faulty CDI or something. If you where jumping you might have just nicked the belt sensor causing it to go off. Also tight and a light squak at idle is good squack when moving is bad. Don't wait for your belt light to come on to adjust your belt or check it. I constantly check mine every time it is worked on.
