Prairiewrench beat Penland!!

Wow congrats to everyone involved at the 12 hours race, sounds like it was brutal. I can't imagine finishing much less beating someone like Penland. Way to go to all the Kawie riders that competed

I believe at the end of 12 long hours we beat them by a mere 2 minutes and 10 seconds! It was a long hard battle and we lead the whole race except for maybe 3 or 4 laps! Penlands team was always anywhere from 30 seconds behind us to 7 minutes behind throughout the race! Mike himself did not get alot of seat time from what I seen and at the end of the race he said he just couldn't get in the groove so Ken Roeby and Eric ??????? had to make up the time! It was a very intense race and the last two minutes just about killed me,,, they were within 1 minute 20 seconds behind so I started yelling for my rider to pick it up,,,, and he pulled it together as much as he could and gained a minute in half a lap!
Team FD Racing riders, these are the guys who won it,,,, Jarrod Sheets,,, Jason Mickelson,,,,Alex Gronbach!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm very proud of these guys,,, thank you for riding your hearts out!!!!!
I want to thanks all our sponsors and the people who have supported us through the year,,, we couldn't have done it without you!
I can't forget,,, a huge thanks to Alltoys for making the trip from Canada to watch and help out at the 12 Hours of ATV America race,,, it was great to finally get to meet you in the flesh!

It was very unfortunate for Jason whites team on the grizz,,,, we really wanted to battle it out with them. It's always good to get to shoot the bull with you, you always help out whoever you can when you can,,, like the guys on the Diamond G team on the V Force! It kinda sucked tho,, I was soo far down I never got to hear any of the race reports and it wouldn't come in on my radio!
Is Jerry OK? I'm glad the guys you were with did soo well. Just think what would happen if we could afford to run these guys in the GNCC!!!!!!
Nova,,, the guys decided they wanted to ride a modded stock engine machine. They said my 785 has too much power ( I never knew there was such a thing) and would wear um out too soon! So what we ran was a 2004 700 Prairie with the help of our great sponsors we pulled it off!
HMF exhaust
Dalton clutching
DYNA ignition
ELKA shock rear and strut spring kits up front
PIAA lighting
MAXXIS All Trak tires
Diamond G Racing, intake snorkle, I finally got to try out that new engine brake bypass devise, worked great thanks Don!
Of corse there are always several mods that I do but the engine was untouched except to change the oil! It is the same engine you get when you buy a new one!

For those that don't know, I'm Jarrod, and it was a hell of a good time running against someone with a reputation as big as Penland Bros. Needless to say I can barely bend over to tie my shoes and it is 2 days after the race. I've never been so sore in my life, but it was worth it. We were racing my quad, and Jason and Alex (nor I) crashed it or broke anything. Prariewrench should change his name to PrairieGOD because he had that thing running flawlessly. Everytime we pitted the next rider rode out on a wheelie!!!! Bart, congrats on how all your guys ran, it was fun as always to hang with you guys. I also noticed that we placed 45th overall with the Prairie out of 110 teams...I feel that that is just as good of an accomplishment! Thanks to all of FD's sponsors, riders, and supporters that were cheering us on....There is no better feeling that pulling through and winning a race that long!!!!!

3rd - Hon Rincon 650
4th - Yam Grizzly 660
5th - Suz King Quad 700

pdljumpr; I bet you are sore, I PMed Jim @f/d and congratulated Him and I want to congratulate You Riders on that win! It takes a lot to beat Mikes outfit and if you do or can they are graceious about it and like good competition, I was looking at the roster before the race and you beat a whole team of gncc regulars on that green bike of his and they are the toughest indeed, I told Jim he must have some assasin (killer) type riders and know how to put a good piece under you fellas,,very good Congrats Jarrod Jim @ jhmachine

AWWWW,,, it weren't nothun! Just another ole race! LMAO!!!!!!
Man,,, my phone hasn't stopped ringing since Saturday night! LOL!!! Lots of congrats and questions on how we made a stock one run soo good,,,, he he he,,, I'llllllllllll never tellllllllll!!!!!! LOL!!!
The KQ didn't make it far,, it was rolled hard and the rider went to the hospitol to have surgery on his arm or wrist it was busted bad! One of the guys racing it was Tommy Farr and they were pitted close to us so since all we ever had to do was gas the quad (boring) I ran down to help them out when it was towed in! They had a bent tie rod, bent rim, bent handle bars, busted lights, shorts that blew a fuse, but in a matter of no time they had it back out there but something else was wrong because it never worked for um the rest of the time they tried to run it,,, then it broke a rear axle and that was it, they gave up and packed it in!
