I have recently purchased a tachometer/hour meter for my two Kawasaki ATVs (Bayou 220 and 250). I looked through the owner's manual and repair manual and could find no reference to maximum or optimum RPMs for the engines on those ATVs (I may have overlooked it).

What is the recommended RPMs that the engines should be run at and what is the maximum? Now that I have a tach I can monitor that performance.
