.. Seeing that the Green Beret has yanked all backing for racing, kinda similar to Honda in the 80's but no lingering law siuts. Any ideas if we will be represented in the cross country or moto series again? Might we have a 450 in the pirline?

 

I believe Kawi is gonna make a 450 atv. Since the KX450F is comin later in 2005 they gotta keep up with Yamaha and Honda in the atv market. I've been seein a ton of those 450's out there! They got the V-Force but its not that good in the motos. Too heavy. The lightest atv capable of doin ANY motos is a Mojave and I don't think I would race it unless I had a ton of money to update the frame. It would almost be stupid on Kawi's part to NOT put a 450 motor in an atv frame. The 450F is kickin major *** in Japan on the moto circuit. Look how awesome the 250F did this past yr. WON the championship here and in Japan! It would be a waste not to stick that 450 motor inbetween 4 wheels. I already have a name they need to call this new atv. TECATE!!!!!!!!!! Bring back the name that was the fastest back then and WILL be the fastest this time around. (I hope) All we can do is cross our fingers and prey I guess, hahaha

 

yeah i think it'd be sweet to see kawie come out with a full on 450 and a lower level raceing 250 for amatures and local boys that don't need a fast bike just a nice little speedster

 

.. Amen to that, brother. we need a machine to represent the Green camp! TECATE would be perfect. Y'know- actually back in the day, the Tecate was faster and a bit more RAW than the 250R. it just didn't quite have the geometry that the 250R did- but what a mulekicker of an engine. I'd like to see that in these current times................

 

yeah i donno what they were on when they stopped making it...a lot of the older racers are really fond of them but they werent' out long enough for the after market to catch on like the 250r...kinda sucks...kinda really

Yeah- and they're bringing it to us in 2005, thankfully. Hopefully since Kawasaki is the last to the 450 game they'll have the best stuff.

 

I already got pics on my comp of the new 450F bike. Looks tight. I'm gettin one as soon as i get the V-Force paid off. Trading or sellin my KX 250 for one. Im movin to 4 strokers. Tired of mixin gas and oil. I rode a Honda 450F motocrosser and OMG. I'm hooked on the 4 stroke bikes for sure now! My bro is still a die hard 2 stroker. I'll definately be able to beat him on his KX 250 hahahaha. One of these days I would love to own a Tecate 4. Just a bad *** machine that was the fastest quad in its day. Sometimes you just want to kick kawi's butt but I still love them!!! Green all the wayy baby!!!!!

I would like to see the 250 2 stroke, that's been rumored for several years, go into production.

 

Yes, pendejo- we bleed green just like a lethal insect. KVRMUDDRUNNER, y'know- come 2006 2 strokes will be a thing of the past, thanks to the EPA. Probably the next thing we'll see is catalytic converters for quads, ya never know these days.........
