Default geez! i found the best way to by a quad...

i went to my local kawa dealer and they had the kfx400 i wanted. then right next to it these kids in their early 20's come in and look at the yfz450 right next to it, the kid ask for an otd and the dealer was like 7gs and the kid was like i only got 6300 is that ok, pulls all of it out and he took right then and there within 15min. i'm going to that same dealer and i'm going to bring $5100 and see what he can do for me on a kfx.

I always ask what the "cash price" is. it's the lowest price; financed without a trade in is the next highest; and you will pay the most if you finance it and trade a bike in. ever notice when you ask the price, the first question the salesman asks you is "how will you be paying for it?"

I've found that you want to begin with an offer that is less than you actually wanna pay because once the initial figure is out then you and the dealer will tug o war back and fourth until you get to a price you both settle on. So start low- maybe $4500 then yank back and fourth and try and land on your target $5100.

thats not really true most of the ATV places get paid in full whether you are making payments or not so they dont care. You are making payments to a finance company that is basically paying the dealer as a loan to you and you pay them back with intrest.

Ozark,

I'm suprised that Willows Motorsports would go that low on a YFZ. They are known to be higher priced than like New Haven Suzuki/Kawasaki in New Haven.

If I were you, I would go up to Troy, this way, you pay no sales tax on the machine (unless your register it in CT) and you get the machine for several hundered less than what you will pay in CT.
