i have a mojave with 24" bear claws
i no puttin bigger tires on a bike gives it more top speed and less acceleration aso to get the toureque should i get 22 or 20 inch tires and give up the ground clearence, or just change my sprockets to get back to balence the tourque to top speed?

I would go 22" tires and still regear for those trails.

 

the thing is 2 new back tires is 200$ and a new sprocket is only 11 so will th enew sprockert give it more tourque?

 

New sprokets will help get it back to normal and would be WAY cheaper than new tires. You need to measure the circumference of both tires and find the ratio or % of the size difference and then adjust your gearing by the same %.

i have a mojave and it is stock the tires are 22-10-10- and its got the torque and speed that it should try the tires first go to a tire dealer who has lots of quads like garages place that change tires and see if there are any good ones they have to sell for cheap youd be surprised on how cheap and how many tires they have thats good and not used as much as you would think

 

How many teeth are on your front sprocket and how many on your rear?

You need to get a 45-46 tooth rear sprocket or drop 1 tooth in front to approximately equal the gearing of a 22" tire.

 

so with the smaler front it will make it have the same top speed and tourque ratios aproxx as a mojave with 22" tires
