Calling all KFX700 riders for Q&A!
#1
I figured I would ask the experts.......... I already have asked the pros over in the yamaha section, now for the Kawasaki experts.
Q: Will a KFX700 stock with the exception of a full dual yoshi's exhaust and a dynatek ignition beat a piped and jetted raptor?
The reason I ask is b/c im in competition with a friend. I'm the raptor owner and can beat him once I hit third. He is more experienced than I am but I'm curious about that dynatek ignition upgrade.
What do you guy's think?

If both atvs were stock the vforce was designed to beat raptors. Now if since his bike is piped and jetted you can take a vforce but not by much.... If you want to spank him and teach him a lesson change your primary spring and advance the timming by 6 degrees. Leave your stock pipe on.....he will never know what happened..lol

I raced two Raptors in 7 race and won everytime. They were piped and some other hop-ups,one had a long swing arm on it to.They could not believe a 500lb atv beat them.

A piped and properly tuned Raptor will beat a V with just Duals on it. Duals and the proper Clutch mods, will even things up. Open up the breathing (Air in) and some type of timing advance (CDI or Degree Key) and the V will come out on top more than not.
Of course depending on the degree of modification, both quads performance potenial is significant.
