Found a new use for my Prairie: a hayride for my kids!
Today, I bought a bail of hay and only used a little part of it (as a cushion for the floor of my dog house). Anyway, I got the bright idea to put the rest of the bail in the little utility trailer that I have (its made to be pulled with a riding mower or ATV). Then I attached the trailer to my quad and put my 2 kiddos in the back of the trailer (sitting on the bail of hay) and proceeded to pull my kids up and down my street very slowly. You should have seen the look of the little kids playing next door (who where attending a b-day party for my neighbor's 1 year old) when they saw me pulling my 2 young kids down the street...hehe
Anyway, it was a fun use of my quad and I just wanted to share this story in case anyone else out there wants to use this idea to give your own kids a quad-driven hay ride.

The few times that we get snow, we tie up to three sleds to the back rack and pull the kids up and down the road. We're lucky in that we live on a 1/2 mile long dead end low traffic road. it's almost like pulling three kids on water skis.

Jaybee,
Cool idea! Unfortunately, we don't get snow where I live but maybe once every 10 or 15 years.
PS - I also live on a 1/2 mile long, low traffic dead end road. That does make it safer for the kids.
