Add a Dynatek CDI, it will release the beast out of its chains. The Dyna FS cdi will remove the stock module's restricted power delivery away in mid-range, and especially top-end power that Kawasaki restrictes you with their stock cdi. Then, dual exhausts and rejetting the carb properly will unleash the rest!

If it is not enough, well, there is turbocharger and 800cc Big Bore upgrade kit available for it!

Set it up with a decent exhaust, primary spring. Get better tie rods, Diamond G has good ones. Airbox mods ( still working on that here, contact Bartlett for a new concept or try a few what others have done), rejet accordingly and let her rip. Full skids if you ride in the rocks like I do.

To beging with get some type of exhaust and rejet. Next change the spring($20). Don't buy the jet kit from what I have been reading from other riders. Keep and eye on the tie rods, they will bend. the other stuff can be done if needed. But, go have fun.

Congrads on your new purchace. The KFX is a great all around machine. Not the best at any one thing, but will do well at everything you need it to do. There are alot of things to do to help out the power. You will soon find that some of the other sport quads will be faster than the 700. Don't be discouraged. Kawasaki tunes the KFX to be mild out of the box, but can easilly be made much better if you open up the intake, pipe it, and install a complete clutch kit. the intake/exhaust is straight forward stuff, but choose your clutch mod's carefully. Go to www.daltonindustries.com for the best bang for the buck clutch mods. Good luck!

BTW.. check your messages.......

Shortyno11,
Here is a link for a turbocharged upgrade,

www.labusas.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=50256

I recommend this mod especially for anyone riding in the sand dunes where we never have enough power, but for riding in the forest, it might be a little fast.

I was unhappy with my vforce till i got some pipes and jetted the carb, clutch kit, and cdi , It really woke the big V up. The big V has potential to one of the fastest out there. I regret trading the v for a motorcycle.
