Default Cold weather retuning ...?

Hi Guys
I put a pipe and jet kit , twinair filter , radiator hose intake , I'm running DJ jets , 138F / 142R I set it up when it was in the 40 degee temps outside now it's 20 or less and the quad is acting like it's lean , I turned out the mixture screws to 4 turns out and that seem to help , It seems like it's more in the back carb , you can watch it sputter , when I have it in the shop it's running great .
I don't want to have to tinker around with the carb every time it gets really cold out any one have any ideas and is 4 turns on the mixture to much ?
Thanks guys
