a friend of mine just purchased a used 2000, 400 auto full time 4 wheel drive prairie. Does anyone Know of a mod to make it switchable from 4 to 2WD. Honda has one does Kawasaki?

 

I know that the people that make Warn Winches are supplying the kit to convert the Honda Rubicon to 4wd - 2wd. They must have a website that would give you at least an information line to call. Worth a try.Good luck

 

Warn makes a 4 2 4 unlocker, but only for the Prairie 300, they wont fit the 400 and last time I emailed them they didnt plan to make one for it. Guess you could remove the front driveshaft [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] Please let me know if you find something to fit it, I want to be able to switch also.
